It’s December ๐ finally !! A month long looked forward to and now that we are finally here, everyone is approaching the coming holidays with trepidation – to travel or stay put !? ๐….in light of the new virus variant. Decisions, decisions !

For us one decision has already been made, no new Christmas decorations this year, will make do with the old ones. They last forever if stored properly.
I don’t have many decor items but am especially happy with the paper mรขchรฉ Christmas decor hangings we bought on our visit to Auroville ๐ A glimpse into Auroville โ The City of Dawn ๐ฎ from a unit called Wellpaper.
โWellPaper is an initiative of an Israeli coupleโฆโ said our guide at Auroville, WELL stands for Women Empowerment through Local Livelihood.

I have the paper mรขchรฉ Christmas tree cone in red, green, gold and silver colours; paper mรขchรฉ stars, hearts and the round balls. They look really pretty and festive !
And the tins ๐…they are old cake tins from Anns Bakery in Kerala, they are pretty and I have kept two out of nostalgia, from the many cakes we have bought from them over the years to devour and to gift during the festive season. Anns Bakery make the most delicious Christmas plum cakes ๐.
Let’s not forget gifts ๐ for the special people in our lives; gifts are not a tradition, but I bought a little something for my nephews – the book The Christmas Pig by J K Rowling ๐ท and a Frank’s jigsaw puzzle titled Masha and the Bear (60 pcs) ๐งฉ.

Here’s wishing everyone a warm and wonderful December ahead โ๏ธ
“Trust and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart
And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And he will make your paths straight and smooth.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Till next post, take care !!
