Nando’s @ Bangalore 🌶

Nando’s flame grilled peri-peri chicken 🍗…😋

Weekend is a time we try to venture out of the house and this weekend some shopping was also on cards. A visit to the mall sounded perfect and Phoenix Market City is one of our favourites. The mall this weekend was teeming with shoppers, schools are closed and festival shopping is long overdue; not to mention the sale season is on !

Their outlet in the Phoenix Marketcity mall opened pre pandemic but it’s only now that we are having a bite of the famous peri-peri chicken. They had four levels of spiciness, we asked for “hot” and it was akin the mildly spicy by Indian standards; maybe we should try “very hot” next time 😊

The food was tasty and filling. The restaurant at the mall is a relatively small one, with both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose a table outside; the ambience was perfect; the air cooler and the pleasant Bangalore weather made the place cosy and airy.

The boneless Espetada chicken arrived hot on a longitudinal skewer with side of peri peri potato wedges; we also tried the Peri peri chicken burger with a side of peri peri fries; chicken pita with a side of garlic bread with cheese. Chicken and rice seemed to be a favourite combo at many of the other tables.

The service was prompt; prices reasonable, pleasant ambience and yummy food !
