…with a little help π. I tried out a ready to cook fish curry from a fish and meat delivery app in Bangalore called www.fishandmeatdaily.com

I was a little apprehensive about trying out ready to cook, but decided to give it a go; it’s only akin to ordering an eat out with an extra step of waiting the cooking time and the meal is piping hot !
The fish pieces came in a separate pack and the coconut based gravy to cook the fish came in another pack. They have a choice of the kind of fish you want; I had trevally (vatta) π.

The gravy had the typical tartness of the tamarind and it was nice. I, by way of habit, marinated the fish pieces for 10 min with a pinch of salt and turmeric. Just add the gravy and the fish pieces into a chatti or kadai, close with a lid and let it cook for 10-15 min. The Malabar fish curry is done !

Check for salt in the fish curry and add more, if you prefer. It’s an easy alternative to cooking from scratch on a Friday evening. The Malabar fish curry was nice !

Till next post, take care !!
