Live music, fabulous food, relaxing ambience – that’s a hat trick for this sports themed restaurant and combine it with prompt and friendly service, edgy drinks, this restaurant is superb !!
Sunday afternoon and we were at Church Street trying to zero in on a place to eat. The two major attractions of Church Street are eateries and bookshops; there are plenty of eateries alongside the road. We have enjoyed sandwiches from Koshy’s and sweets from KC Das on one end of Church Street to Mangalorean Chicken Ghee Roast & Neer Dosa from Coast to Coast at the other end. In-between, Chai Point is another fav place. π A glorious afternoon at Church street, Bangalore π &
But today we head to the first floor of the 1 Sobha Mall on Church Street and the restaurant is Royal Challengers Bar & Cafe. The theme is red and blue; the ambience exudes energy and at the same time just as you plonk onto the chair, you feel relaxed. The big screens were airing the India vs England cricket match. The bar forms the focal point and the drinks that kept flowing looked tastefully concocted.

The DJ’s music was enjoyable and now for the food π. We ordered the Carnivore Platter which had a mix of chicken and seafood; it was superb !

Next we tried the day’s special Chicken Dim Sum and the Suriani Meat Skewer; they arrived pretty as a picture and disappeared really fast π

Dessert was Brownie & Vanilla ice cream π°
The meal and the ambience were really good and this is our current fav recommendation for a restaurant in downtown Bangalore !! We were on a weekend staycation in Bangalore; here’s the itinerary π Itinerary for a weekend in downtown Bangaloreπ

Another noticeable feature is their attention to details, in the presentation of food and drinks and even in the decor. Everything seems to be thoughtfully done and impeccable.

Till next post, take care !!
