“Would anyone like to share a joke about Maths?” asks the teacher to the online class. The kid’s Maths teacher was trying to cheer up the students while commencing the second Maths class of the day. This particular teacher radiates positivity and energy that’s infectious and it permeates to the students as well. The Maths class is fun and as a result sees a large number of participation from the otherwise passive students.
“Okay, let me share one…” the teacher says. “How do you make Seven even?”

“You remove the ‘s’ …๐”
I am over hearing this from the kitchen. The teacher continues that over the past few months, she has learnt to recognize the students by their voice though she won’t be able to identify them by their faces !!

I am enjoying the new concept of online classes. Ever since the kid began school, the only answer I got to the question “How was school today?” was “Okay”
“What was taught today?” and the answer would be “Nothing”
One teacher later explained that the “Nothing” answer was to avoid further questions plus it was overwhelming for the kids to recall everything that happened. So I got used to the answer “Nothing”. But now, I have first hand account of everything that’s happening in school. It’s such a refreshing change ๐. The kid will not agree though.
So yes…I am seeing a silver lining in the dark clouds and am thrilled !!
Till next post, take care !!
