It’s the first day of another lockdown in Bangalore, but that’s no reason to celebrate !? But today is also the day when the kid’s board results were announced. He passed with distinction and that’s a perfect reason to celebrate🥳. It’s a qualifying exam, not a competitive one; it’s the first hurdle the kids jump in the impending course of their long obstacle race towards higher education and so we cheer on 🎉.
Back to the food and making of the biryani always begins with the garnish of fired onions, cashews and raisins.
I made a simple egg biryani. The aroma from the ghee and spices combined with the basmati rice is irresistible😋.
One of the simplest biryanis to make; but loaded on taste.
