So far, so good🌤

Kids’ board exams just got over, he is happy and we are thankful. The exams went on as per schedule with masks and hand sanitisers allowed in the exam hall. All the schools have long been shut, only the board exams are being conducted. There were smiles of relief and joy on faces of kids coming out after the exams and parents waiting patiently outside. That’s done with !!

Bangalore roads esp. the Outer Ring road was empty today morning with the IT employees being asked to work from home. So we reached the exam centre in just 30 min, compared to the 1.5 hours it took otherwise.

After dropping the kid at the exam centre, we head to Chai Point to catch breakfast. Ginger tea and Bun omelette is the usual fare for me and I sit in the air-conditioned comfort for some time in the company of a book. It’s a new store and not crowded. I like their ambience, food and service.

Today the food counter at Chai Point was empty, their usual supplies were not delivered so the breakfast choices were limited to Maggie or Poha. I have never eaten poha before, so tried that and it was tasty and light.

And finally the holidays have arrived. The precautions in our apartment complex are being stepped up; the courier and home delivery executives are allowed only till the main gate, the residents have to go and pick up the stuff from there. Maids are being asked to take leave for now, maybe till April first week. Let’s see.

Till next post, take care !!
