Puja holidays are finally here 💃. Standing in Bangalore, we look around, where can we go? There is Kerala and Goa on the west coast – been there; within Karnataka there is Mysore – been there; Wayanad and Coorg – been there; hill stations of Coonnor, Ootty – been there too. It’s time to venture to the east coast. Pondicherry and Mahabalipuram, by road. 6 days of adventure 🚙💨.

It’s our first trip to the east coast of the Indian peninsula and yes am super excited !! Here’s the itinerary for days ahead…
Day #1: Bangalore to Pondicherry by road with stop at Gingee fort; Walk along Promenade or Beach Road at Pondy; Stay at Maison Perumal, Pondy
Day #2: Heritage Walk in the French quarters of Pondy; Lunch at Coromandel Cafe; Bharti Park
Day #3: Auroville; Practise session for scuba diving; Stay at Ocean Spray on the ECR
Day #4: Scuba diving; Lunch at Villa Shanti; Pondicherry Museum
Day #5: Pondicherry to Mahabalipuram by road; Lunch at Taj Fisherman’s Cove; Dakshin Chitra; Stay at Radisson Blu Temple Bay at Mahabalipuram
Day #6: Mahabalipuram sightseeing; Mahabalipuram to Bangalore by road.
We wanted to spent two days in Chennai also, we are so close, but decided to cut short the travel as the kid has holiday homework to do 📚. Besides the capital Chennai, the state of Tamil Nadu has few other interesting towns, will club them together for another trip. Here’s the first cut, we are covering a circular distance of over 700 km approx. (excluding the travelling within the towns); let’s go…🚙💨

Till next post, take care !!
