Colours of July (Photoblog)🌼💖

I have a tendency to click photographs of practically everything around me. The commonplace objects seem more interesting in the photos than in plain view. Looking back at the July snaps, most of them are in and around home, here’s a glimpse of my July…

Madagascar Periwinkle
Madagascar Periwinkle

Please correct me if I am wrong with the name. I definitely do not have a green thumb; even money plants have died out under my care. This feisty little plant seems to have a mind of its own and has been in bloom from day one. The flower is the prettiest and the colour is beautiful❤️

This is a view from my balcony and this floral carpet of yellow lasts till about 9:00 am after which the gardener comes to sweep away the fallen leaves and flowers.

With a glimpse of my balcony. It’s raining, we have no puddles here, its all grass and concrete and so the grey wet concrete is a colour of the monsoon.

Indoors.. and this curtain is just right to brighten up the cloudy rainy days. Orange for curtains is a bold colour but happy to have chosen it.

Mustard yellow is not my first choice of colour; I received this table runner as a gift and love it. Mustard yellow is gorgeous 🧡

Magenta or fuchsia, pretty, pretty

While we are talking of gifts, I received another lovely package. The colour is magenta or fuchsia, pretty, pretty 💖

Brown and its coconut that comes to mind at once. Grating coconut is a task I detest, but it is so indispensable to cooking and I can’t do without it.

I finished slicing the capsicums and then took this snap…love the colours !!
