2018 is about to end and I reached 100 posts. Starting off in Jan 18, to reach 100 by the year end was a plan, publishing 2 posts a week and its done !! Maybe targeting a definite number of followers or views or likes would have been a more enviable target. But it’s a milestone for me. And a big thank you to all the people who have joined me !!

We enjoyed two delectable meals last weekend – one reminiscent of home and the other continental.
For a taste of Kerala, we head to Fort Kochi, a restaurant located at the 1MG Mall in Bangalore. Fish would probably be the most celebrated food that comes to mind when most people venture to have a taste of Kerala; but for Keralites, it has to be beef. However, with all the cow politics in the country, in Bangalore, we settle for buffalo meat instead. Food was good at Fort Kochi and here’s the Erachi Varattiyathu (Panseared buffalo meat in roasted coconut masala) with the soft Palappams. The fried coconut chunks in the gravy are a must !!
The second meal was at Cafe Noir at UB City Mall, Bangalore. The food came piping hot and tasty on the cold evening. We tried the French Onion Soup, Lamb Parmentier, Beef Stew Pie and last Crazy Waffle.

2018 sped past, it’s been a good year and I am thankful. The holidays are to start soon and till the next post, here are some Christmassy sights from my world……..Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas 🎄 and happy holidays !!

The colourful cake tins are an added attraction and become a keepsake.

Bangalore is lighted up for the holidays and the malls are looking festive. Last weekend was crowded at the Phoenix Market City Mall, Bangalore.

Larger the mall, bigger the tree !!

We visited UB City mall in Bangalore, it vaguely resembled the MBS in Singapore, smaller and with no canals. The place was richly decorated for Christmas. There was a large crowd gathering for the live screening of the match between Liverpool and ManU.

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays !!
