On our 72nd Independence Day

We joined the Independence Day celebrations at our kid’s school. The weather was kind and the rains held out until after the event. The school’s festivities were based on the theme ” Me and my country, we grow together“. Here’s some snaps of the morning festivities.

Everyone was in a festive spirit and lunch was next, we head to a place called The Fishermans Wharf on Haralur Road, Sarjapur, Bangalore.

Lunch was Kadai chicken, Butter nan, Chicken Vindaloo, Steamed Rice. There was a complimentary dessert of Peda, an Indian sweet. A sweet end to a good day and here’s wishing all a Happy Independence Day.
